Another bath in Storgrundet

Bathing in the Baltic Sea is still fun but it starts getting chilly. Today water temperature was round 13 °C, that’s 5 °C less than two days ago. Maybe the strong gusty wind has been mixing the warmer surface water with colder water from the depth.

Bathing starts to get cold

If the water temperature drops below 10 °C you can call it winter bath. I guess, that will not be long.

    Wenn man den Sprung ins kalte Wasser nicht wagt kann es passieren das es zufriert…..

    Dear Olaf, I think, it‘s better to have a bath in a very, very cold water, than to fall in a icehole.
    I often think of our eveningbathing, with warm water, wonderful, when I had holydays in hotel Olaf. Next year, I hope I can come again

    Ich bade tatsächlich lieber im Eiswasser als da :-D . Im Eiswasser ist man aber auch schon nach 60 Sekunden ein Held.

    Johanna wenn das Eis zu dick ist, muss ich mir wohl eine andere Badestelle suchen.
