Missing Iceland article I – Reykjavík

This article is part of the series “2018-08: Iceland”.

While I showed a lot of photos of the varied Icelandic landscapes the last two weeks I didn’t write anything about the main town Reykjavík yet. More than a third of the Islanders lives there and almost two-thirds of the Icelanders in the Greater Reykjavík region.

I’ve never been in Iceland before and was curious about Reykjavík, too. Anyway I have to admit, that I prefer the smaller towns, the rural areas and the uninhabited landscapes, but I want to show at least some photos I took.

    So ein ganzjähriges Weihnachts-Haus gibt es hier in meiner Nähe auch ! Ich finde es lustig :-)
    Die Konzerthalle ist imposant .

    Schade, dass man in die Konzertsäle nur mit teurer Führung reingekommen wäre.

    Hast Du eigentlich noch Noten gefunden ? Ich hab angefragt in der Musikschule , bekäme aber nur über den Verlag eine Mindestmenge von 30
    Exemplaren .Viel zu viel und zu teuer :-( Tut mir leid …

    Das Musikgeschäft in Akureyri hatte nichts und in Reykjavíks Zentrum waren wir nach der Autoreise nicht mehr. Ich schaue im Internet, das scheint heutzutage die bessere Quelle zu sein.
